EGGLESS DEVIL FOOD CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. cocoa (dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar; add buttermilk and cocoa mixture; mix well. Combine baking soda, baking powder and flour, gradually add to cream mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in layer pans at 350°F for 25 minutes or until cake tests done.
