SWEDISH COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. water

Cut flour and butter. Blend in water with fork. Pat into cookie sheet or 2 ovals; 3 x 12 inches.

FILLING:

1 c. water
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond

Bring water and butter to boil. Add almond extract and add flour immediately to prevent lumping. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Spread over the dough. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Frost with powdered sugar, extract, butter and chopped almonds.
