1/2 c. butter 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tsp. rum extract 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. flour 1 c. chopped walnuts 1 (7.5 oz.) tub of S & W glazed cherries Melt butter and chocolate in sauce pan. Let cool. In a separate bowl mix sugar, eggs, cinnamon, rum extract and salt. Gradually add flour. Beat until smooth. Mix in chocolate. Add nuts and cherries. Spread mixture in 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool before cutting into squares. Makes about 2 dozen. |
