NORA'S LAYERED 24 HOUR SALAD 
1 lb. fresh spinach
1 head Iceberg lettuce
1/2 lb. bacon crumbled, cooked
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 pkg. frozen peas
1 med. red onion, sliced
2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sour cream
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, cut in strips
2 tsp. sugar
Salt & pepper

Arrange in layers in clear glass salad bowl. Start with spinach, sprinkle with salt, pepper and 1 teaspoon sugar. Add layers of bacon, egg, then lettuce. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar. Top with peas, then onion slices. Mix mayonnaise and sour cream. Spread over salad. Top with Swiss cheese. Cover with foil. Chill overnight.
