COUNTRY GARDEN DINNER 
2 c. sliced potatoes
1 c. diced celery
1 c. sliced carrots
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onions
1/2 c. green pepper
1 c. tomatoes

Arrange in a baking dish the potatoes, adding a little salt and melted butter; then the celery, again adding a little salt and melted butter. Then add the sliced carrots. Fry the beef until it is done and put on top of carrots. Fry the onions and pepper in remaining butter until they are soft. Put on top of hamburger. Pour the tomatoes over the top and bake until vegetables are done. Bake covered at 400 degrees for 1 hour. 4 servings.
