EASY ONION RINGS 
Onions
Buttermilk
Self-ris ing flour
Oil

Slice the onions and separate into rings. Place in a container and cover with buttermilk. Cover tightly and marinate overnight in the refrigerator. To cook, shake gently to remove excess buttermilk and dredge in flour. Fry in a skillet in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
