GOLDEN DROP COOKIES 
2 c. granola cereal
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
1/2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine cereal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; mix well. In large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and milk, mixing until well blended. Gradually add cereal mixture; mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
