SAUSAGE LASAGNA 
1 lb. bulk sausage
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. red wine
1 tsp. dried sweet basil
Lasagne noodles
2 c. cottage cheese
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 c. Parmesan cheese
6 slices Provolone cheese (or 8 oz. pizza cheese)

Brown sausage; drain, if needed. Add garlic. Add next five ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Cook noodles; drain. Combine cottage cheese, eggs and parsley. Layer in order, beginning with light layer of tomato mixture on bottom of 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, noodles, cottage cheese mixture, grated Parmesan cheese and tomato mixture. Repeat twice (total 3 layers). Top with Provolone slices (or pizza cheese). Bake in 375 degree oven for 35 minutes.
