HUNGRY JACK BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 to 2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 or 31 oz.) can pork & beans
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. instant, minced onion
1 can biscuits
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown ground beef and drain. Stir in next 5 ingredients; heat until bubbly; pour into 2 quart casserole. Cut biscuits in half to form 20 half circles. Place around edge of casserole; cut edge down. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 26-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Serves 4-8.
