BUTCH'S FRESH SALSA | |
Juice of 1 lemon 6-8 lg. ripe tomatoes, finely chopped 3 bunches scallions, finely chopped, including all parts 1/4 c. water 1 sm. can whole kernel corn, including juice 1 can tomato sauce with or without bits 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce or 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (either one) Salt & pepper to taste 2 heaping tbsp. Cilantro leaves (do not omit this) 2 heaping tbsp. chopped parsley (fresh or dried) Mix all ingredients. Will keep well in sealed container in refrigerator for three weeks. For variety you can add bell peppers or celery, finely chopped |
