1 box butter recipe cake mix

Make cake according to directions on box. Bake in Bundt cake pan or oblong pan. While cake is still warm, pour topping on cake. Punch a few holes in cake with toothpick.

BUTTER TOFFEE TOPPING:

1/4 c. water
1 pkg. butter toffee candy
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Put 1/4 cup water and candy in double boiler. Melt candy until smooth. Add nuts. Pour over warm cake.
