ASPARAGUS WITH SAUCE 
HOT HERBED TOMATO SAUCE:

1/2 c. finely chopped tomatoes
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 1/2 to 2 lb. fresh asparagus

Take each asparagus spear and snap off tough portion. In large pan bring salt water of about 1 inch depth to boiling. Place asparagus in water; bring to a boiling again. Cover; reduce heat. Simmer 8-12 minutes or until tender-crisp; drain.

Prepare Herbed Tomato Sauce by combining all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat to boiling. Pour over hot asparagus.
