ORANGE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
1 tbsp. grated orange rind

FROSTING:

1 bag powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2-3 tbsp. grated orange rind
Fresh orange juice

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Blend dry ingredients and add to butter and sugar mix. Shape into a log about 1" thick. Cut, place on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees about 15 minutes or until bottom is lightly browned. Cool.

FROSTING: Combine butter, sugar and orange rind. Add enough orange juice to make a runny frosting (thick glaze). Dab frosting on top of cookies and let harden a little before storing.
