CHERRY COLA SALAD 
1 (#2 1/2) lg. can Thank You cherry pie filling
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 lg. pkg. cherry gelatin
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple
8 oz. Coca-Cola
1/2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)

Cook cherry pie, sugar, and water for 5 minutes (boil). Remove from heat. Sprinkle over top and stir in gelatin, carefully - it clumps, until dissolved. Add pineapple (do not drain). Add cola and nuts.

Note: This is good for molds - sets up well.
