KELLEY'S GRILL PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
1 c. water
2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 stick butter
2-3 level tbsp. peanut butter

Bring 1/2 cup water, sugar, and butter to a boil; add milk and return to boiling. Mix eggs, cornstarch, and remaining 1/2 cup water; be sure cornstarch is completely dissolved. Add to milk mixture reducing heat (I took the pot off the burner at this point). Stir briskly until thick and smooth, remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Pour into a 9 inch baked pie shell. Top with meringue made from 4 egg whites. If desired, add one drop yellow food coloring to the meringue.
