HARVARD BEETS 
2 c. boiled beets (or canned)
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar

Melt butter. Add sugar and flour. Gradually add 1/4 cup vinegar and cook until clear. Add beets. Heat 10 minutes, stir occasionally.
