WHITE REFRIGERATOR COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter (1 c.)
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
2 med. eggs
1/4 c. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch salt

Cream butter and butter; add eggs. Stir. Add sifted ingredients (flour, baking powder and salt) alternating with milk. Mix well and let stand in refrigerator a few hours or overnight. Next day, roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
