MEAT BALL SUB CASSEROLE
1/3 c. chopped green onions
1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. loaf Italian bread cut into 1-inch slices
8 oz. cream cheese softened
1/2 c. mayonnaise, regular kind not fat-free or light
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. shredded mozzarella, divided
28 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 c. water
2 minced garlic cloves

Combine onions, crumbs, Parmesan and beef. Make 1-inch balls, bake on rack in 400°F oven for 20 minutes or until done. Arrange bread in single layer in ungreased 13 x 9 pan. Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning and pepper, spread on bread, sprinkle with 1/2 c. mozzarella. Combine meatballs, sauce, water and garlic, pour over bread and cheese mixture. Sprinkle with rest of mozzarella.

Bake uncovered at 350°F for 30 minutes or until heated through. This is easier to eat than a meatball sub!
