RICH AND MOIST BROWNIES | |
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. cocoa 14 tbsp. butter, melted 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped FROSTING: 1/4 c. cocoa 4 1/2 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. warm water 2 c. powdered sugar Add cocoa to melted butter. Beat in sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and stir into cocoa mixture. Mix in nuts. Spread in a well-greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 28 minutes at 350 degrees. DO NOT OVER BAKE! Melt cocoa and butter together. Blend in warm water. Stir in powdered sugar. Frost brownies when HOT! |
