HAMBURG SHISH-KABOBS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. finely chopped onions
2 tbsp. chopped green peppers

Mix ingredients and shape into 16 balls. Alternate on long skewers with onions and sliced tomatoes. Broil over coals. Put between long pieces on split French bread.
