WILD ONION AND CLAM CHOWDER 
4 tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped wild onions
1 c. chopped yellow onion
4 tbsp. flour
1 pt. milk or half and half
2 cans (8 oz.) minced clams
1 tsp. salt
Other herbs as desired
Diced cooked potatoes (optional)

1. In 3 quart saucepan, heat butter until melted. Saute wild onion and onion in butter for 5 minutes.

2. Add flour, stirring until blended. Add milk. Heat to boiling, stirring.

3. Add clams and liquid. Add salt, white pepper and celery salt. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
