3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 c. Miracle Whip
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 c. raisins
3 c. peeled and chopped apples
1/2 c. walnuts

Stir together first six ingredients. Add next three ingredients. Mix well - will be thick. Add last three ingredients; mix well. Pour into 3 (8 inch) or 2 (9 inch) greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tests done. Frost with Cool Whip.
