DINNER ROLLS | |
5 1/2 c. flour 2 pkgs. yeast 1/2 c. warm water 1/2 c. butter 1 c. very hot water 3 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Melt butter in the 1 cup very hot water. In bowl beat eggs, sugar and salt until mixed. Add yeast mixture to egg mixture; mix well. Add 5 1/2 cups flour. Cover, let rise until double. Punch down. Roll out and form into rolls. Put on greased pan. Let rise until double. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. This dough is sticky, do not knead, too much flour and rolls won't be light. |
