ALL-BRAN BUTTERMILK MUFFINS 
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 pt. buttermilk
2 c. All Bran cereal
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Heat water and shortening until shortening is melted. Cool. Beat sugar and eggs. Add buttermilk, cereal, flour, soda and salt. Mix well and then add cooled mixture.

The batter may be refrigerated and dipped out as needed. Always keep in a tightly covered container.
