CORN FLAKE PUDDING | |
1 qt. cornflakes 1 qt. milk 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. molasses 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. butter Stir all ingredients together except butter. Turn into greased baking dish. Dot with butter. Place the dish in a pan of water and put in oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes; test for doneness. Serves 8. Variation - Chocolate Flake Pudding: Add 1 1/2 squares melted unsweetened chocolate to recipe for corn flake pudding, increasing sugar to 1/2 cup and omitting molasses. |
