PASTEL CREAM WAFERS 
1 c. soft butter
2 c. flour
1/3 c. thick cream

Mix these three ingredients well and chill. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on floured board (1/3 at a time). Keep remainder of dough in refrigerator. Cut small wafers. Coat both sides with sugar, place on cookie sheet and prick with a fork. Bake 7 to 9 minutes. Cool and put together with filling: 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1 egg yolk 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together. Divide and put in different colors.
