CHOCOLATE - PECAN RUM BALLS | |
1 lb. shelled pecans, ground (4 c.) 8 1/2 oz. box chocolate wafers, crushed into fine crumbs 1/2 c. dark rum 1/3 c. honey Confectioners' sugar Mix all, except sugar, in large bowl; chill 20 minutes. Shape well rounded measuring teaspoonfuls into balls. Store air-tight in cool place or refrigerate. Just before serving or giving, roll in confectioners' sugar. Makes 100. Hint: May substitute 1/2 cup orange juice for rum. Add 1 teaspoon grated fresh orange peel. |
