2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. water
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Sift flour and sugar together; set aside. Put oil, water, butter, and cocoa in saucepan and bring to boil. Pour into flour and sugar and mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, and soda. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Bring to a boil. Add 1 box confectioners sugar. Beat well and ice cake while hot.
