MARINARA SAUCE 
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt

In medium saucepan over medium heat cook onion and garlic clove in olive oil, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and liquid and all remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer approximately 30 minutes, stir frequently. This recipe may be doubled and frozen for future use. I pack it in ziplock bags and freeze it for individual servings. Serve over pasta.
