BEEF MEDLEY 
1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. season salt
3 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
1 qt. tomatoes (two 1 lb. cans)
1/3 c. barley
3 sm. onions, sliced
3 lg. carrots, sliced
3 stalks celery, sliced
3 lg. potatoes, diced
1 1/2 qts. water

Cook meat in butter until brown. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover; simmer 3 hours.
