RAISIN PIE 
1 (15 oz.) box seedless raisins
3 1/2 c. water
1 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. butter

Boil raisins in water for 5 minutes (or until soft). Moisten all dry ingredients with 1/4 cup water and add to raisins. Bring to boil until thickened. Cool slightly and add vinegar and butter. Put in 9 or 10 inch pie pan and cover with crust or crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until crust is browned.
