CHERRY ALMOND DESSERT 
2 (1 lb., 5 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 (9 oz.) pkg. white or yellow cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. sliced almonds

Combine cherry pie filling with cinnamon and almond extract. Spread in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle the cake mix over the top. Drizzle melted butter over cake mix and sprinkle with the sliced almonds.

Bake in moderately hot oven (375 degrees for 35 minutes or until lightly browned). Makes 8-10 servings.
