Best Ever Pecan Brownies

I first found and used this recipe for my b'day in December 2014. For a while I kept the dates I used it on the paper sheet I downloaded. But I have baked this so many times over the years I have lost count. Occasionally I've altered the amounts and size pans or even make muffins in paper cups (my favorite for freezing). Long ago I swapped out pecans for using walnuts. My teeth don't like hard pecans. The walnuts are more friendly for me. Also, I take a rolling pin (or small hammer) to the walnuts in a plastic bag before mixing into the batter so more evenly distributed and minimizes choking. No matter what size I make or if I mess up and either under cook or over cook (bad attention span), the brownies are absolutely delicious no matter what size or how well cooked. Hats off to whoever had the original recipe. It now coming up 10 years of my baking these -- my students and g'kids love g'ma's brownies! M Lane
