CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
4 chicken breasts, cooked and deboned 1 box Stove Top cornbread dressing mix (use only the cornbread mix, discard the other package) 1 1/2 c. chicken broth 8 oz. container of sour cream 3/4 stick of butter 1 can of chicken soup Mix thoroughly 3/4 box of cornbread mix, 3/4 cup chicken broth and 1/4 stick of butter. Pat down in bottom of pan. Place deboned chicken on top of the mix that has been patted down. (Make sure chicken is in small pieces.) Mix together 1 can of chicken soup and 3/4 of an 8 ounce container of sour cream; add 3/4 cup chicken broth and mix well. Pour on top of chicken; 1/2 stick of butter in small pieces on top, sprinkle 1/4 box of cornbread mix on top of butter. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. |
