EMPANADAS 
DOUGH:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
7 tbsp. warm salted water (or more)
5 tbsp. melted butter

Mix and roll out into 3-inch circles.

FILLING:

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped olives
1/2 c. chopped onions
5 hard boiled eggs

May use a bit of tomato sauce if desired.

Place 1 heaping teaspoon of filling on each circle; fold and crimp together with fork. Fry in deep fat until brown. These may be frozen and use when needed.
