MINTS 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Crisco
3 tbsp. warm water
5 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted
1/8 tsp. oil of spearmint
Food color

Combine butter, Crisco, water, spearmint, food color and half of sugar. Mix well, add remaining sugar. If needed, add additional water or sugar for right consistency. Roll out and cut or use cake decorator.
