2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. alum
2 c. boiling water

Put into a bowl in order given. Stir up and add food coloring. I add more flour if it's too sticky. (Knead in.) Keep in plastic bowl, bottle or bag tightly covered in refrigerator.
