REFRIED BEANS 
1 (48 oz.) can pinto beans
2 strips bacon
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 med. onion
2 bay leaves

Fry bacon until some grease is rendered then add onion and garlic; saute. Add beans with all the liquid and bay leaf. Let simmer 1 hour or until some of liquid is cooked down. Mash or place in blender and serve with salsa.
