RAISIN DATE NUT LOAF 
1 lb. dates
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
2 tbsp. oil
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
2 c. flour

Place fruit in bowl, add boiling water and soda. When cool, add rest of ingredients. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until tested done, in long loaf pan.
