RED PEPPER SAUCE 
4 c. coarsely chopped red peppers
4 c. coarsely chopped onions
2 c. chicken broth
1/4 - 1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
2-4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. chopped fresh basil

Saute garlic and onion in a large skillet in olive oil for 5 minutes. Add red peppers and saute 5 more minutes. Add chicken broth and red pepper flakes, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Put mixture in blender or food processor and process until smooth. Put sauce into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in basil. Serve over ziti or pasta of your choice. Makes enough sauce for 1 pound of pasta.
