PINTO BEAN PIE 
1 c. pinto beans
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mash pinto beans. Add coconut and pecans. Soften butter. Blend with sugar, eggs and vanilla. Combine all ingredients well. Pour into 2 deep 9 inch pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Yield: 2 (9 inch) pies.
