VANILLA PIE 
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. molasses
2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg

Boil all together. Take from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

CRUMBS:

2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Make 2 (9 inch) pie shells and pour first part in unbaked shells. Put crumbs on top. Bake in 400 degree oven until crumbs and crust are brown.
