TACO SALAD | |
1 1/2 lb. hamburger 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix Pinch of chili powder 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans 1 pkg. nacho tortilla chips 1/2 lb. shredded cheddar cheese 2 lg. tomatoes, chopped 1/3 head shredded lettuce 1 jar Western dressing Brown hamburger with dry onion soup mix and chili powder. Drain in colander with kidney beans until all liquid is off. Cool beans and hamburger in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight. Just before serving, in a large bowl mix meat and beans, chips (break up slightly), shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Pour Western dressing over entire salad and mix thoroughly. |
