FIESTA SPREAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
Tabasco sauce, to taste
2 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated (1/2 c.)
Sliced stuffed olives, optional
Ritz crackers

Brown beef with next three ingredients; drain excess fat. Add next four ingredients. Mash in beans. Heat, stirring frequently. Add Tabasco sauce to taste. Garnish with cheese and, if desired, sliced olives. Serve warm with Ritz crackers. Makes about 3 1/2 cups spread.
