MICROWAVE NUT BRITTLE 
1 1/2 c. raw nuts (split almonds or cashew bits are especially good)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix nuts, sugar, corn syrup and salt in a 1 1/2 quart microwave safe bowl. Cook on high 4 minutes, stir. Cook 4 minutes more. Add vanilla and butter, stir. Cook 2 minutes. Stir in baking soda and spread onto sheet of Reynolds wrap. Cool and break into pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
