FREEZER RAISIN COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates
1 c. shredded unsweetened coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts

In bowl, cream butter, egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Beat flour mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in raisins, dates, coconut and walnuts. Form dough into rolls 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place in freezer until firm, about 2 hours.

With sharp knife cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Place on greased baking sheets and bake at 350 degrees 12 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 5 dozen, 20 servings.
