CARNATION CHICKEN 'N' GRAVY 
3 - 3 1/2 lbs. chicken pieces
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. melted butter
2/3 c. Carnation (undiluted)
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. grated cheese
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
8-10 sm. onions (cooked)
1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
Paprika

Coat 3 - 3 1/2 pounds frying chicken pieces with 1/4 cup flour. Place chicken in single layer, skins down, in butter in shallow baking dish. Bake uncovered in 425 degree F. oven for 30 minutes. Turn chicken, bake until brown and tender, 15-20 minutes. Pour off excess fat.

Mix 2/3 cup undiluted Carnation, 10 1/2 ounce can cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup grated process cheese, 3/4 teaspoons salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add 8-10 small cooked onions and 1/4 pound sliced mushrooms to chicken. Pour Carnation mixture over chicken; sprinkle with paprika. Cover dish with foil. Reduce oven to 375 degrees F. Bake 15-20 minutes. Serves 6-8.
