BUTTERNUT SQUASH PIE | |
1 c. sugar 2 c. cooked butternut squash or sweet potato, mashed 1 c. evaporated milk 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 2 eggs 2 tbsp. butter, softened 1 unbaked 9" pie crust Mix sugar, cooked squash, milk and spices. Beat eggs and add to other ingredients, adding butter last. Put into unbaked pie shell and bake in 450 degree oven for 15 minutes, reducing heat to 350 degrees and bake for 25 minutes. |
