JAY'S CHILI 
1/4 c. olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. each hot & mild Italian sausage, lean ground beef
1 clove garlic
2 (1 lb.) cans chopped tomatoes
1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
1/2 c. coffee
1/2 c. dry red wine
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 c. water
2 tbsp. dried basil
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cumin powder
3-5 tbsp. chili powder (to taste)
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tbsp. salt
3 tbsp. chopped fresh dill (opt.)
1 can pitted black olives
2-3 (1 lb.) cans red kidney beans
3 tbsp. parsley
10 mushrooms

STOCK: Brown meat and onions. Spoon off fat. Add to other ingredients except dill, mushrooms, olives, parsley and beans. Bring to boil and simmer for an hour. Add beans, mushrooms, cloves, parsley and dill. Serve with cheese and onions.
