BANANA CAKE | |
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks) 1 c. granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 c. mashed bananas 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 tsp. baking soda 5 tbsp. sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1 c. chocolate chips (or sm. bag) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add mashed bananas, mixing thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients and add to butter and egg mixture. Stir until flour has been incorporated. Add sour cream, vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips. Pour batter into pan and cook on middle rack 1 hour or until cake test inserted into center comes out clean. |
